We know that the life of a top model isn’t all about limousines and champagne; still, seeing mannequins enjoying “civilian” activities still retains an element of “she’s (sort-of) just like us” surprise. That was our reaction—plus a smile—when we discovered how Norwegian model-mom Iselin Steiro chose to relax after her turn as a glamazon in Milan where she walked in Donatella Versace’s high-powered and well-received Spring 2017 show. Back in Oslo, Steiro went apple picking. ’Tis the season, after all, when the apples—and air—are crisp. The time for hayrides and sweaters, cider donuts and apple crumbles, and days spent outdoors as Mother Nature puts on an in-season show of her own.
